Quality Inspection, Container Filling, and Loading Inspection

Quality inspection is a process with multiple steps to guarantee reliability. The quality inspection performed before, during, and after the manufacturing or production process to the supplier, is what we call Factory Audit (FA). A Factory Audit allows us to identify any issues before the production process and before a purchase order is made.

This audit allows the importer to:

Know the supplier’s production level
Identify if the supplier uses quality control methods and to which degree, they are applied to the production process
Understand in greater detail the supplier’s management and operational processes
Select a certified supplier with confidence

Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) is the most effective way to guarantee the quality level of the entire shipment is as good as it can be, 100%. Generally, this requires the production process is 100% complete and at least 80% of the products to be packaged correctly. This, depending on the kind of product, to ensure it does not present any damage during transportation to the destination country.

Samples chosen for verification are randomly selected according to the AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) standard.

A Container Loading Inspection supervises the process of filling or loading the container. Verifying the quantity and type of product are those reflected in the purchase order. Furthermore, the packaging of the cargo, the condition of the packaging materials, the condition of the containers is inspected to ensure the import operation does not present missing packages, boxes, or excess packages. This to avoid the importer problems with customs authorities in the country of destination.
